Tonya Vogelbacher is a pediatric Occupational Therapist with more than 28 years of experience helping children develop the skills they need to thrive at home, in school, and in their communities. She earned her degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida and is Board Certified in Pediatrics through the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).  Tonya has her certificate in Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI) and is a certified Handwriting Specialist through Learning Without Tears.  She is also trained in both the SOS Approach to Feeding and AEIOU: An Integrated Approach to Pediatric Feeding. Committed to providing the highest quality care, Tonya has continually expended her professional education throughout her career to stay current with evidence-based treatment approaches and emerging best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.

Her extensive clinical experience includes work in a variety of settings, including pediatric home health, the public school system, and John Hopkinds All Children’s Hospital.  Throughout her career, Tonya has developed expertise in supporting children with Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Developmental delays, Sensory processing disorder, and Learning disabilities.  She uses a child-centered approach implementing innovative, engaging activities tailored to each child’s interests, strengths, and developmental needs.  A strong advocate for collaboration, Tonya works closely with parents, teachers, and medical providers to ensure that new skills learned in therapy successfully carry over into the child’s daily routines at homes, school, and within the community.
