Morgan McKee is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She is a National Certified Counselor and has her Perinatal Mental Health Certification. She is a Central Florida native who graduated from Rollins College with her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University. Morgan’s experience includes working with individuals, families and children in both school and clinical settings. Morgan has completed extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for adults and is currently undergoing training within the Academy of Cognitive Therapy to become a Diplomate. She has a special interest in women's mental health, and enjoys working with women during the peripartum period.  She has also completed additional training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and has been certified as a Perinatal Mental Health Professional through PSI.

 

She works directly with our physicians to provide integrated care. She completed her practicum at BETA Teen Parent Connection Program, a school for pregnant teenagers and young mothers. She completed her internship and was previously employed by AdventHealth in their crisis stabilization unit. This experience has allowed her to gain extensive knowledge in acute crisis management, including suicide prevention and awareness while also working with individuals and families suffering from chronic mental illness.
