Arianna Hoyo is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern (RMHCI). She graduated from the University of Central Florida’s (UCF) Counselor Education Master’s program, which is ranked in the top ten of counseling graduate programs in the nation. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Sport & Exercise Science at UCF. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).Her primary clinical experience includes working with adults that have a history of trauma, psychosis, addiction, and mood disorders.
Arianna has specialized training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, a type of therapy that looks to understand the individual in a deeper, more meaningful way. This type of therapy is utilized for various disorders and symptoms, including mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, and depression. She has special interest in treating trauma in adults and has completed a certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Arianna has clinical experience working with trauma and addiction at a residential treatment center for women and mothers with substance use disorders. She also has experience working in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, providing assessments and care for individuals in crisis.
Arianna works directly with our physicians to provide integrated care and her background in sport & exercise science contributes to her holistic view in patient care. Her psychodynamic approach leads to deep and meaningful talk therapy sessions that can facilitate insight needed to thrive.
